On geographic variation of intertidal and subtidal fish richness along the Chilean coast (Lat, latitude; SST, sea surface temperature; Area, continental shelf area; Chl-a, chlorophyll-a lineal; Chl-a², chlorophyll-a quadratic). The models were ordered in parsimonious form using the Akaike information criteria (AIC) and weighted AIC (AIC_w).
